Jody Lindsay
My name is Jody Lindsay and I am entering my 24th year of teaching beginning in the fall of 2017. From the time I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to learn a foreign language. It was from my father, who speaks fluent Spanish, that my desire to learn languages and cultures evolved from a dream to reality. I spent several years in Spanish classes until receiving a LDS mission call to Zürich, Switzerland.
I graduated with a BA in German and Education from BYU in 1994 and earned a master's degree in education from Utah State in 2003. Throughout my career, I have received many awards and honors for my work as an educator, yet the most satisfying of them all is the daily reward of observing the joy students find in their success of language acquisition. My husband, Dave, and I have four children. When I am not teaching or running my children to their activities, you can find me on the beautiful ski slopes of Utah, cooking for my family, reading, running, creating digital scrapbooks of my family, and cycling (my new-found love & challenge!). Come with me to Europe! Every other year, I lead an educational tour to German-speaking Europe and a bonus country! It is a 5-star experience! If you are interested in learning when and where I travel, please email me at [email protected]. |
